Despite significantly higher efficiency, LAMBDA heat pumps are priced at roughly the same level as similar competing products. This outstanding value for money stems from the high heat transfer achieved through the 3K process, which has allowed us to keep material costs for air heat exchangers relatively low. Furthermore, our motto is: More machine, less housing. We prefer to invest in high-quality, well-dimensioned refrigeration circuit components rather than in expensive designs.
When comparing products, the model designation is often misleading. The model designation of our heat pumps is based on the maximum output at an outdoor temperature of -10°C. For most other heat pump manufacturers, the model designation corresponds to the maximum output at an outdoor temperature of 2°C or 7°C.

The ideal installation location for an air-source heat pump depends on several factors.
The following points should be considered when selecting an installation location for an air-source heat pump: 

  • Compliance with safety zones (e.g., no basement shafts or ignition sources within a 1-meter radius)
  • Free air circulation (avoidance of niches, obstacles, depressions, and obstructions in front of the heat pump, etc.) to ensure efficiency and reduce noise
  • Connection lines to the boiler room should be as short as possible
  • Accessibility for servicing
  • Noise pollution (compliance with required distances to neighboring properties based on noise calculations, distance from bedroom windows or quiet areas)

Our new remote maintenance portal has been online for several months now. With “Connected Heat,” our customers and partners now have round-the-clock access to their LAMBDA heat pump—along with a host of additional features. Here’s how it works.

Given the growing demands for energy efficiency and comfort, remote maintenance of heat pumps has become indispensable in modern building technology. Technicians who must be physically on-site for even the smallest troubleshooting not only drive up (maintenance) costs but also result in delays and potential operational interruptions.

Monitor, control, and maintain remotely

LAMBDA’s “Connected Heat” remotemaintenance portal offers an efficient solution to precisely these challenges. With the help of this newly developed, multifunctional platform, end customers, service technicians, and installers can remotely access the devices and, if necessary, make optimizations or analyze and, in many cases, resolve malfunctions.

  • Remote access to heat pumps: Partners can independently enable and manage remote access to their customers' heat pumps.
  • Customer and employee management: The system enables easy management of customer and employee data.
  • Integration with the company website: Company master data is linked to the company website (“Find a Partner”), which simplifies updating and management.
  • Centralized management of fault reports: Fault notifications via email can be managed centrally.
  • Quick access to heat pump information: Important information such as customer details, status, type, serial number, and software versions is easily accessible.
  • Storage and retrieval of documents and notes: Users can store important documents and notes (hydraulic diagrams, maintenance reports, logs, etc.) and retrieve them as needed.

Through continuous monitoring, potential problems can be detected early and addressed proactively before they lead to major outages.
